The PEMDAS Entities

DIVINITY/DIVISION

THEME/ENCOUNTER TUNES: Groove Therapy - Universal & One in Ten - Axis

DIVINITY/DIVISION (stylized in all caps because that’s how she writes it!) represents in D and S in PEMDAS—the only part of that stupid acronym/order that really matters. She should be first, right? Everyone agrees.

÷ Some of the PEMDAS entities (or ‘operations’) have various names, I just learned that DIVINITY’s other name is Selihui not my business to share and, well, a lady must have her secrets!

÷ Agender (“There’s simply no time to dwell on this, my dear!”)

÷ She/her (“Yes!”)

÷ Ace (“No thank you!”) & Aro (“While I am charming and many admire me, I don’t much care for the whole romance thing. Besides, who could ever love me more than I love myself? Hahaha! I am not hyperbolizing. It is impossible. Do feel free to attempt it, however.”)

÷ Her age is likely the same as any other operation and when I’ve asked she has replied,

• “My! How forward of you.”
• Did not answer verbally, only winked.
• "Why, I simply couldn’t say!”

÷ The way she talks reminds me of an old-timey movie actress. Polite, but in a kinda faux way, and fancy, like a swanky party lady.

÷ She is a bit of a busybody not as nosy as me! She also expects you to ask about her but doesn’t promise to be completely honest with you! ^_^

÷ According to some of the other entities, she is “Super! Vain.” (“More than you, dear?”) and “a pain in the PEMDAS!” (“Oh, please. There’s no need for flattery.”).

Hobbies:

• Chatting! (i.e. bothering anyone in the vicinity)
• Interior design! (i.e. aking rooms that would give you an infinite headache if you tried to perceive them. her speciality is garish impossibilities in the form of armchairs)
• Puzzles! (i.e. making things into unsolvable, uncombinable pieces)

Favs:

• Words—adore, dear, favor, denounce, frivolity
• Being unrestricted by gravity
• Gossiping (“Is it really chisme, darling?”)

Unfavs:

• Words—sunder/asunder, constrict, rigidity
• Current form is limited by human perception (!)

About Her Appearance:

• While I have yet to see it again, her original (‘simplified’) form is one that she essentially loathes because it is reprehensibly difficult to express her fashion sense in.
• Eyes and mouth are not attached to face at all.
• Mouth has a semblance of teeth, teal colored.
• Limbs are two-dimensional, composed of a paper material. She only sometimes uses them, relying more so on an inherent telekinetic power!
• Body is three-dimensional, composed of a clay-like material. She has two gems, one on her torso, and the other on hips. They may only be for show, but I don’t know that for certain.
• Usually never touches the ground! Wow!
• Her form is heavily segmented because she prefers it, freeing and fashionable!
• She could divide her body even further if she wanted to :):

multiplicity

THEME/ENCOUNTER TUNES: Blitzwing & Devastator - Transformers Devastation OST

multiplicity (typically stylized in lowercase) embodies the A and M in PEMDAS. Xe doesn’t care about rank or the Order of Operations. However, he is deeply concerned with order as a whole, like the concept of how things can make sense. Things need to make sense. Chaos is folly! Even so, control is something xe grapples to control. It is mainly for this reason that he exists in a perpetual state of irritation and dissatisfaction.

+ Xir nickname is Tili, but he appears to be embarrassed of this???

+ Agender (“if i was going to just choose one gender, i wouldn’t so i won’t.”)

+ He/him & xe/xem(“i...enjoy...the sound of these words. in addition, i think the latter’s shapes suit me.”)

÷ Ace (“BLEUGH! NO!”) & Aro (“i am severely uninterested in romance. firstly, there is no time for it. secondly…[he went on for a good while, going off topic several times]. however, i cannot say that i am entirely opposed to...eugh..i don’t know.”)

+ Agender (“if i was going to just choose one gender, i wouldn’t so i won’t.”)

+ Tends toward “big fancy words” at times, but isn’t one for mincing words.

+ Like the other PEMDAS entities, xe has just existed and will continue to exist until no one does. If I had to put it in an equivalent of human life ages, he is definitely an adult. I believe all the entities are. When I’ve asked xem about xir age, xey said,

• “Irrelevant.”
• “Incomprehensible by mortal standards.”
• “The highest number you can count to.”

+ Minds his own business, expects the same of you (or else?).

+ He is not one for pulling pranks or making jokes (though he is often sarcastic!). Xey do, however, appreciate clever wordplay.

+ The other PEMDAS entities would say that multiplicity is “oh, such a wet blanket party pooper” and “Fun! To annoy.”

Hobbies:

• Making lists that go on and on and on and...
• Organizing and categorizing most things, especially “that of which is unruly” (so anything???)
• Reading the dictionary for leisure because its purpose of creating a form of order is soothing

Favs:

• Words—atrocious, pathetic, schematic, abecedarian, fret, infer, vapid, absurd
• Alliteration! Especially for insults.
• Some human organizational apparatuses (e.g. rolodex)

Unfavs:

• Words—neat/control-freak, twitchy, neurotic, tedious, frantic
• Chaos, especially purposeful chaos (mischief, shenanigans, etc.)
• Small talk (“it is. difficult.”)

About Xir Appearance:

• I haven’t seen his original form! It is a mystery to me.
• Connector coilstring “neck” has loops that correlate with xir emotional state. More loops indicate heightened stress/irritation. In a rarer state of emotional equilibrium (i.e. not super irritated or stressed), there are no loops at all. HOWEVER no loops can also signify great distress if it then switches to sharp knotted loops (like jagged kinks in the coil).
• Default amount of loops is one (= slightly irritated).
• Torso mouth acts like a primary mouth, as it opens and closes. It has a tongue and sharp canines.
• Upper mouth (on his ‘face’) is always closed, usually in a gritted scowl.
• His eyes are all capable of squinting and changing size. Xir green eye set hold the opposite form of the teal eye set. Typically, teal eyes are glaring while green eyes are wide and scribbly. In a state of equilibrium, all eyes would be same form/size. Wow…?

• Doesn’t need to blink so if he does, it’s only for emphasis.
• Hands are usually clenched or in claw-like positions because of anxiety & stress & agitation.
• Legs can float any distance from the body. They are sharp at the ends so sometimes when he walks it sounds like he’s wearing heels.
• Xe floats n glides around nearly all the time. He can also teleport.
• His body is segmented because of stress fractures and some function-based augmentation (xe says it’s easier to move?).
• Torso, head, and neck-coil are made of a 2D paper material while xir limbs are composed of a 3D smooth stone-like material.
• He can create little 3D shapes out of...well I don’t know exactly what it is. It’s green and may be pure energy? Xey say it’s a collection of Things That Are Now Organized And Just Happen to Be Geometric Shapes. He also likes to have these objects floating around him to keep him focused.

That's what I know about xem so far. Gotta keep researching!

THEME/ENCOUNTER TUNE: Good Night (Take 2) [Good Ending] - Gimmick! Music (FC / NES)

The last to exist yet the first in PEMDAS, Index is the “youngest” “sibling” of DIVINITY and Multiplicity. Index does not really care about its primary placement within the order of operations. This only becomes a pertinent little detail when it is time to bother its fellow operations.

Note: Lotta info missing, research is in progress!

^ Indexponential is its full name. It primarily refers to itself as “Index”, a self-given nickname?

^ Agender (“No! Thanks.”)

^ It/its OR no pronouns (“Index. That’s me!”)

^ Ace (“Why? Irrelevant!”) & Aro (It is new to relationship and social dynamics, but its non-interest in romance is “Unlikely to change!”)

^ Newer to existence than the other entities, but still “Innumerably! Ancient.”

^ Has a digital sounding voice, like it sounds like its coming from a small calculator…! It speaks pretty succinctly, but it is not opposed to an excited ramble.

It is very inquisitive and still figuring out the world! It tends to observe rather than directly interact (e.g. engage in conversation), content with its own inner rapport.

^ Other entities have described Index as “a real wise-guy with an absolutely grating sense of humor! eugh!” and “IT’S HERE? [the blip of someone teleporting away]”.

About Xir Appearance:

• Face is composed of a round and a square bracket.
• Its mouth is a curly bracket, usually one that mimics a smile.
• It has two eyes, one by its head for emoting, another on its chest that is both an optic and a display surface.
• Its limbs and face are drawn to its torso by a magnetic connection
• Its limbs and face are drawn to its torso by a magnetic connection.
• All of its body is 3D, comprised of a light metal material. Its right leg has a type of circuit board enclosed within a transparent casing.
